How to Make a Jester Hat
|
Making a homemade jester hat is not that difficult with some simple sewing skills.

For a basic jester hat that doesn't require sewing, you can follow these instructions:
First cut out triangles in the type of fabric you want to use for you hat. The triangles should be long and the base of the triangle should be about 3 inches. The height of the triangles are to your choosing, but a suggestion would be 10 inches. Use different color fabrics such as red and blue, or green, yellow, and purple for a traditional type of jester hat.
Then cut out a headband out of the fabric. It should be about 2 inches high and long enough to wrap around your head. Then lay the head band flat, and place the triangles onto the band. Use hot glue to glue the triangles onto the headband. If you have bells, you can add them to the tips of the triangles. Then connect the ends of the band together to complete the hat.
